Chelsea are said not to be among the clubs Erling Haaland is considering to join if he leaves Borussia Dortmund, MySportDab reports.
The Dortmund star could be on the move this summer, and every top side in Europe has been linked with his signature with the likes of Man United, City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Erling Haaland agent’s Mino Raiola, recently revealed only ten clubs will be able to afford him, with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and both Manchester clubs thought to be among the favorites to get him.
However, according to respected German publication BILD, the Norwegian is only considering six clubs as opposed to ten and Chelsea are not one of them those club.
Roman Abramovich already gave Thomas Tuchel the greenlight to bring in Erling Haaland but it looks like the deal won’t be happening after all.
The news comes as a boost for Clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United who might now have the upper hand to sign him.
Erling Haaland whose £65m release clause does not become active until June 2022 and it is still unknown if with the financial crisis for clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United, if those club can afford him.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also recently confirmed he has been in talks with the player which he managed during his time with Molde.
It is still unlikely to know how the deal will go as Dortmund will be making a demand of about £150 million for the striker during the summer.
