Manchester City have now confirmed that Sergio Aguero will leave the club at the end of the season, MySportDab reports.
Aguero is Manchester City’s greatest-ever striker, with 257 goals scored across all competitions since he joined from Atletico Madrid for £35m.
The Argentine is also set to win another Premier League Title this season before he leaves.
On Monday, Aguero spoke with Coach Pep Guardiola and other members of Manchester City’s hierarchy.
City then announced in the night on Monday that he will leave the Etihad Stadium when his contract expires this summer.
Aguero will forever be a City legend after his crucial last goal secured their first league title on the last day of his debut season in England.
Aguero’s 181 Premier League league goals are the highest of any foreign player and he is seven goals close to third-placed Andrew Cole on the all-time scorers chart.
Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak confirmed that a statue of Sergio Aguero will be made to appreciate his achievements at the club.

Aguero’s statue will be made alongside fellow club Legends Vincent Kompany and David Silva, which are now being constructed.
Al Mubarak said: ‘Sergio’s contribution over the last 10 years to Manchester City cannot be overstated.
‘His memories will remain with everyone who loves the club and even those who simply love football.
‘This is not the moment for final farewells. There is still a lot to be achieved for the rest of the season with Aguero.’
Barcelona new president Joan Laporta wants to sign Aguero on a free transfer this summer.
Aguero has previously discussed the idea of ending his football career at his boyhood club, Independiente in Argentina.
