Manchester United Fans have now started a protest and blocked entrances to United’s Carrington training ground today, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils fans are protesting against the club’s billionaire American owners, and they decided to leave after speaking to Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, first-team staff members Michael Carrick, Darren Fletcher and midfielder Nemanja Matic spoke with the angry fans who demanded that the Glazers sell the club.
The Glazers were one of the main founders of the European Super League, which has now collapsed after 48 hours of criticism from fans and people around the world.
On Wednesday, United co-chairman Joel Glazer admitted they ‘got it wrong’ and ‘apologised’ to the club’s fans over the Super League saga.
But his apology was not enough to stop the fans from protesting at United’s Carrington this morning.
Around 9am today, videos emerged of Manchester United fans on Twitter protesting at both entrances, inside the training ground.
They were using banners which read ‘Glazers Out’, ‘We tell you when you play’, and ‘51% MUFC.’
A Manchester United statement read: ‘At 9am this morning a group of fans entered the club training ground. The manager and others spoke to the fans. All the Buildings are secure and the group has now left.’
