It is now official as Real Madrid have completed the signing of Bayern Munich defender David Alaba, MySportDab reports.
Los Blancos have beaten the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, and Paris Saint Germain to sign the Austrian.
He will be unveiled at the end of the season after David Alaba agreed to sign with Real Madrid as a free agent.
The defender failed to reach an agreement with Bayern Munich over the renewal of his contract which pushed him to move elsewhere.
It was reported that the likes of Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain were the two clubs strongly linked with a move.
Due to David Alaba’s wage demand, other clubs had to pull put which Los Blancos have been able to match his demands.
The deal will be official after the end of the current season with him still with Bayern Munich until he played his final game for the side.
The move according to Fabrizio Romano, was never in doubt since January when it was announced that he won’t be extending his contract with Bayern.
Real Madrid have now benefitted from the deal as they will have to let Sergio Ramos go with him yet to extend his contract that expires in few months time.
Doors are now open for the likes of Chelsea, Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United to go after the Spain International who will be free.
