Angel Correa and Marcos Llorente both scored a brace and one from Carrasco ensured Atletico Madrid thrashed Eibar 5-0 to remain top of the League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Two goals from the home side ensured they controlled the first half of the encounter which was entertaining.
Eibar held things down making life hard for the home side who needed a desperate win to keep their title hopes alive as the game progressed.
Atletico Madrid broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute of the game after so much pressure which saw Angel Correa making it 1-0 from a nice finish.
Correa doubled the lead and made it his brace after scoring in the 44th minute of the encounter to make it 2-0 for his side as the match progressed.
The first half of the encounter ended with Atletico Madrid 2-0 Eibar as they both headed for the break with an advantage over to the home side.
Second Half Report
The second half was much more better with loads of goals coming from the home side who were ruthless.
Yannick Carrasco increased the lead to 3-0 in the 49th minute after an amazing buildup play saw Saul Niguez making the assistance for the goal for Atletico Madrid.
Eibar were poor defending as another goal came in the 53rd minute of the game as Marcos Llorente scored with a brilliant finish making hr 4-0.
The game progressed with Llorente scoring his brace in the 68th minute to make it 5-0 through a stunner as they continued to dominate.
It finally came to an end with Atletico Madrid 5-0 Eibar which see the home side claiming all three points to remain on top of the League table.
