Sadio Mane scored as Liverpool dropped points after playing 1-1 against Leeds United in the English Premier League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Just one goal scored by the away side who dominated the first half encounter creating more opportunities.
Leeds United had things under control in the early stages as they were able to make sure they defend well to keep their opponent from scoring.
Liverpool had things going their way in terms of possession and opportunities but they just couldn’t find a way to score as the game progressed.
Sadio Mane was able to break the deadlock in the 31st minutes as Trent Alexander-Arnold delivered the assist which saw the Senegalese scored to make it 1-0.
The first half progressed with no more goal as it ended with Leeds United 0-1 Liverpool as they both headed for the break with an advantage to the Reds.
Second Half Report
The second half kicked off with the same pace as the first 45 minutes which provided just one goal from the away side in the encounter.
Liverpool continued to dominate the game with more opportunities created but they couldn’t make good with it as they kept throwing it away.
Leeds United created some good opportunities of theirs as the game progressed which they almost leveled things but the finishing touches weren’t that good.
The game went on with more coming from the home side until Diego Llorente scored the leveler in the 87th minute to make things 1-1 after an amazing goal.
The encounter came to an end with Leeds United 1-1 Liverpool as they both shared the points with one each after another poor display from League Champions.
