FT: Porto 0-2 Chelsea, Mason Mount And Ben Chilwell STRIKES! (Match Report And Highlight)

A clinical finish from Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell ensured Chelsea beat Porto 2-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter final away from home, MySportDab report.

First Half Report

It was an evenly balance first half encounter which saw the two sides showing class and controlling the game with one goal scored.

Porto were the better side in the early stages of the first 45 minutes as they dominated play and created more opportunities than their opponent.

The first half progressed without any goal as the Blues dominated play and make life difficult for the home team who also did manage to hold their ground.

The second half kicked off with more pace which saw the away side bossing play with more possession going their way.

Chelsea had some close opportunities which could have made it 2-0 but the finishing wasn’t good enough.

The game continued with a shout for a penalty in the encounter after Cesar Azpilicueta fouled a Porto player which the referee overlooked.

Ben Chilwell doubled the lead for his side after he was able to score a spectacular goal in the 85th minute to make it 2-0.

The match came to an end with Porto 0-2 Chelsea as Thomas Tuchel’s side claimed a massive first leg victory away from home in the UEFA Champions League.
