Manchester United Loanee Jesse Lingard has now revealed that Pedro Neto confronted him at full time for the match tactics used to win, MySportDab reports.
Lingard performed very well again and helped West Ham move into 4th on the Premier League table after an exciting 3-2 win against Wolves.
However, he was involved in a Bust-up with Wolves forward Neto when the match ended.
Team-mates immediately ran towards them after the exchange of some angry words at the end of the season.
Later, Lingard revealed that Neto was unhappy with them keeping the ball in the corner during the last few minutes of the match to seal the win.
Asked by Sky Sports, what happened after the game, He said: ‘He asked me,”why do I play like that?”, but I did not even understand what he meant.
‘Yes we won the game as deserved, I think he was not happy with us keeping the ball in the corner.
‘There’s a lot for us to learn and continue picking up one.’
Lingard has been fantastic since he moved to West Ham on loan from Manchester United in January.
He has scored in six goals and provided four assists in eight Premier League matches.
