Manchester United Make Contact With Cristiano Ronaldo’s Agent Over Transfer

Manchester United have now contacted Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent about a possible return to the Premier League this summer, MySportDab reports.

Ronaldo’s future at Juventus remains in doubt after they were knocked out of the Champions League by Porto.

Juventus could also lose their nine-year title Serie A dominance this summer as they are currently 11 points behind leaders Inter Milan with only six matches left.

According to Italian Newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus’ poor form has made the 36-year-old unhappy and tired of playing for the team this season.

MySportDab understands that United are yet to decide about bringing the Portugal star back to Old Trafford this summer.

Reports suggest that Juventus are ready sell for only £26m after talks with his representative and super agent Jorge Mendes last week.

Juventus would be very happy to get rid of Ronaldo’s £27m (€31m) salary, but the player does not want to give up such wages until his contract expires.

The report adds that Ronaldo’s annual salary would need to be cut into half for United to sign him this summer.

There were rumors last week that Ronaldo could a return to Spain at Real Madrid.

However, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has denied the rumours of a possible Ronaldo Return at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Perez told El Larguero: ‘There is nothing in the rumours of Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Madrid.’

Cristiano Ronaldo is still Real Madrid’s all-time top goalscorer with 451 goals in only 438 matches for the Spanish giants.
