Chelsea Coach Thomas Tuchel has now reacted after Timo Werner’s horrible miss against Real Madrid in the Champions League, MySportDab reports.
Tuchel has now told Werner to forget about his miss as Chelsea failed to take advantage of another good chance in the Champions League semi-final.
The German was unhappy his team’s failure to be clinical in front of goal as Chelsea missed several chances ahead of next week’s 2nd Leg.
Christian Pulisic’s goal gave Chelsea the lead in Tuesday’s semi-final before Karim Benzema made it 1-1 in fantastic fashion.
Werner wasted a big chance early in the first half, which has added to his growing list of misses since he joined Chelsea.
About Werner’s miss, Tuchel said: ‘He failed to score a big chance against West Ham, and now again he missed another one.
‘It does not help, but crying about it won’t solve anything.
‘That’s just it. There are people who have harder things to deal with than chances missed, so by tomorrow nobody cares.
‘Today we are angry right now, it is normal. He is not happy and disappointed.
‘Tomorrow he has a day off and the next day he has be back up. He is very professional, a top player that works very hard.
‘He is in good positions and must do more next time. We can’t stop pushing, or believing and I have the feeling that everybody understands the situation.’
