Here is the moment Edinson Cavani ran out to defend youngster Mason Greenwood after a Bust-up with the AS Roma defenders, MySportDab reports.
This incident happened in the Europa League semi-final 2nd leg against AS Roma in Italy.
Cavani scored twice in Italy as Manchester United sealed their spot in the Europa League final despite a 3-2 loss in the 2nd Leg.
The 34-year-old has showed his worth with his 14 goals scored so far this season.
During the AS Roma match on Thursday, Cavani came up strong to defend Mason Greenwood.
At a pause during the match, Greenwood and Gianluca Mancini collided near the corner flag, with an heated conversation.
Rick Karsdorp then shoved Greenwood, and Cavani was definitely angry about that.
Cavani rushed in and shoved the right-back the same way he shoved Greenwood, and also argued with Mancini during the Bust-up.
Mason Greenwood has revealed that he’s been learning a lot from Cavani on the training ground.
Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is delighted to see the effect Cavani is having in the squad.
‘We can all can learn from him, as a young player or an older player,’ Greenwood said.
‘He has set an example. I obviously like the things he does.’
