FT: Leicester City 2-4 Tottenham, Bale Bags BRACE! (Match Report And Highlight)

Leicester City had themselves to blame as they miss out on top four finishing following their 2-4 defeat to Tottenham, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half of the encounter was evenly balanced as both teams had one goal each in the 45 minutes which was extremely good.

Leicester City broke the deadlock in the 18th minute as Jamie Vardy converted from the penalty spot to make it 1-0 for his side.

Tottenham pushed forward ensuring they caused so much trouble for the side who needed a win to make sure they make top four ahead of Chelsea.

Second Half Report

It was more goals coming in the second half which was filled with so much drama as the home side did very badly.

Leicester City had much to do going forward before a foul was committed and Jamie Vardy scored his second to give his side a 2-1 lead from the penalty spot.

Kasper Schmeichel’s own goal in the 76th minute gave Tottenham the leveler 2-2 after the goalkeeper mistakenly put the ball past his net.

Gareth Bale made things 2-3 for his side with an 87th-minute finish which saw the London side taking the lead and causing misery for the opponent’s top 4 hopes.

Once again the Walsh International score another goal which made it 2-4 and his brace ensured the Foxes drop totally from fourth place.

The match ended with Leicester City 2-4 Tottenham as the London side qualify for Europa Conference Cup while the Foxes make Europa League.
