Man Utd Star Harry Maguire Seen Without Crutches For The First Time (Huge Boost)

Manchester United have now received a massive boost after captain Harry Maguire was seen without his crutches for the first time, MySportDab reports.

This has now raised hopes that he could be fit enough for Manchester United’s Europa League final against Villarreal next week.

Before Thursday, Maguire had been seen wearing a support boot, walking with crutches since his injury in the match against Aston Villa.

However, the England defender was spotted without his crutches at Sir Alex Ferguson’s film premiere.

‘Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In’ Premiere was also attended by other Manchester United team-mates and Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Last week, Solskjaer admitted that Maguire’s chances of playing in the Europa League final on May 26 was low.

But the United Coach was still hopeful that a lot can change over the next seven days.

‘Hopefully we get good news early but I’ll give Harry some time,’ Solskjaer said on Tuesday.

‘His importance is clear to us. I felt people realise what you do as a very good player when I got injured.

‘Harry is our team leader and we have missed him clearly right now. I’ll give him some more time before asking the yes or no question.

‘He has made some progress but we don’t want to rush it too early. Harry wants this so much but he can’t take unnecessary risks either.’

United have not won since Maguire’s injury against Aston Villa, with back-to-back defeats against Leicester and Liverpool.

Maguire had played every minute of every Premier League match before his injury at Villa Park.

England Coach Gareth Southgate will also hope that the 27-year-old makes a full recovery before the Euros this summer.
