Manchester United Transfer News: Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, Harry Kane, Erling Haaland (Updates)

Manchester United Transfer News Update on Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland, and Harry Kane by MySportDab.

United are still in talks with Club legend Cristiano Ronaldo about a possible return this summer.

The Red Devils are also leading the race for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, but may miss out on both Harry Kane and Erling Haaland.

Manchester United have a crucial summer transfer window in front of them after finishing 2nd in the Premier League this season.

According to the Athletic, Tottenham Striker Kane and Haaland may become too expensive this summer but a move for Ronaldo and Sancho are more likely.

Erling Haaland

Haaland

Dortmund Striker Haaland was United’s top target at the start of 2021 but his agent Mino Raiola demanded a fee of £130million, and United were priced out of the transfer.

Outgoing vice-chairman Ed Woodward wants to avoid a similar situation of what happened with Erling Haaland’s teammate Jadon Sancho last summer in the latest Manchester United Transfer News.

Despite Edinson Cavani having signed another contract at Old Trafford until the end of next season, the club are still in the market for a first-team Striker.

Manchester United have not contacted Borussia Dortmund again so far about a deal for Haaland.

Harry Kane

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy’s has insisted before that Kane is not for sale.

However, MySportDab believes that a bid of £120m could make Tottenham to sell at the end of the season.

But, Manchester United are not exactly confident about paying that much for one player give the current financial situation.

A better option could be a player plus cash deal, with Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial likely to be included in any deal of that nature.

United have other numerous exciting options to boost their attack, including a potential return for Ronaldo and finally signing a Sancho for a better fee.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Juventus Star Man Ronaldo remains linked with a move away from the Serie A club after his failure to win the Champions League this season.

Ronaldo could leave Juventus if Andrea Pirlo’s team fail to finish in the Serie A top four and miss out on the Champions League.

The 36-year-old has scored 36 goals in 44 matches across all competitions this season, and despite his age factor.

Man United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has nothing against signing Cristiano Ronaldo if the financial impact won’t affect other deals.

The Portuguese would become the highest earner at Manchester United should return on a short two-year deal before his retirement.

Jadon Sancho

United missed out on Sancho last summer, but the Dortmund player has only two years left on his contract.

The Bundesliga club have now dropped their asking price from £110m to around £70-80m, which is highly realistic for Manchester United.

Sancho’s salary and agent fees were agreed last year, but Borussia Dortmund refused to reduce their asking price for the player.

Aston Villa Star Jack Grealish is another option in attacking Midfield for Manchester United, and Villa want around £80million for the 25-year-old.

Also, Manchester United could sell defender Axel Tuanzebe for £10m, and the future of Donny van de Beek remains uncertain.
