A good first half encounter which was solid from start to the end as both teams gave a good account of themselves.
Romania were very solid at the back which they ensured all threats were dealt with easily and made sure they didn’t concede.
England had some good opportunities which saw one of their efforts hitting the woodwork, which could have been the opener they were hoping to get.
The first 45 minutes carried on without a goal scored, but some good chances was created mostly by the home side.

The second half started with so much promises from the two teams going at each other with the aim of scoring.
England continued to apply pressure against their opponent with the ball possession and everything working for them.
Romania finally conceded a penalty which Marcus Rashford stepped up and converted to make it 1-0 in the 68th minute.
The home side missed the chance to make it 2-0 in the 78th minute as Henderson lost a penalty kick which was saved by the goalkeeper.
It finally ended in the second half with England 1-0 Romania as the Three Lions claimed another victory in their buildup to Euros2020 this month.
