Griezmann scored in the second half as Hungary held France to a 1-1 draw in the European Championship group stages game, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
A very good first half from both teams who created a fair amount of opportunities going forward with the less better side getting one goal.
France had things in their control as they bossed the game and created more opportunities with Karim Benzema unable to make it count on multiple occasions.
The game carried on with Hungary putting up a good fight which saw them withheld every form of attacks thrown at them by the French.
The home side for the encounter finally broke the deadlock in the 45+ minutes after a breakup in play saw them hit their opponent and Attila Fiola scoring to make it 1-0 with assistance from Roland Sallai.
The first half of the encounter ended with Hungary 1-0 France as they both headed for the break with an advantage over to the home side who were solid at the back.
Second Half Report
The second half played out same way like the first 45 minutes of the game, but this time it was in the favor of the World Cup winners.
Hungary continued to maintain their lead as the pressure still didn’t stop with Kylian Mbappe going close but his finishing wasn’t just good enough to beat the keeper.
France continued to press until they finally got the leveler in the 66th minute which came after Hugo Llores goal kick was controlled by Mbappe who setup Griezmann to make it 1-1.
The game continued as Dembele who came off the bench was substituted back after a minor injury as Olivier Giroud almost set up a goal for Mbappe who got his strike saved by the Goalkeeper.
The match finally came to an end with Hungary 1-1 France as they both settled for a draw which saw them getting one points each in the encounter.
