FT: Netherlands 0-2 Czech Republic, Patrik Schick STRIKES! (Match Report And Highlight)

The Czech Republic shocked the Netherlands as they beat them 0-2 in the round of 16 with goals coming from Schick and Tomas Holes, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half was evenly balanced with both Nations showing quality at the back and going forward, but nothing came out despite it all.

The Netherlands were impressive as they created more opportunities while their opponent did everything possible to make sure they don’t score any goal.

The Czech Republic wasn’t that bad themselves as they had the ball possession going their way but couldn’t make it count in front of goal.

It carried on without anything coming out, except some wasted opportunities which they couldn’t convert well and make it count.

The first half ended with Netherlands 0-0 Czech Republic as they both headed for the break with both sides settling for a goalless draw.

Second Half Report

The second half wasn’t a good one for Holland who were dealt with a big blow early in the 2nd 45 minutes after coming close to making it count.

It was a heavy blow for the Netherlands who saw Matthijs de Ligt got sent off in the 55th minute of the encounter making them turn 10 men.

The Czech Republic gained control of the progression to the next round as Tomas Holes gave them the lead in the 68th minute with a header that made it 0-1.

Patrik Schick finished off with his left foot in the 80th minute to extend the lead for his Country to 0-2 as Tomas Holes supplied the assistance for the beautiful finish.

The match carried on without anything else as it ended with The Netherlands 0-2 Czech Republic which sees European Championship favorite crashing out of the tournament.
