Oleksandr Zinchenko and Artem Dovbyk both scored as Ukraine beat Sweden 1-2 in the European Championship round of 16, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both teams were fired up in the first half of the encounter which saw them both getting one goal each and also putting up a fine display.
The game was balanced heading into the first 10 minutes which saw both Nations sizing each other out with a few opportunities going forward.
Ukraine opened the goal scoring in the 27th minute as Manchester City Oleksandr Zinchenko smashed home to give his Country a 0-1 lead after an amazing finish.
Sweden pressures very hard until they finally pulled back level in the 43rd minute through a stunner from Emil Forsberg who was assisted by Alexander Isak to make it 1-1.
The first half ended with Sweden 1-1 Ukraine as they both headed for the break with a draw scoreline after an amazing 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
The second half was evenly contested without anything good coming for both countries who had so much work to do at the back.
Sweden was good at coordinating their defense making sure they didn’t concede another goal while they push forward hoping to get something.
Ukraine did most of the pressing going forward as the ball possession and shot on goal was all in their favor but nothing still they could do with all of it.
The second half ended with Sweden 1-1 Ukraine which saw them unable to score as they both headed for extra time after a draw 90 minutes game.
Extra Time Report
The extra time saw the match opening up as Danielson was shown a red card in the 98th minute as the Swedish were reduced to 10 men.
The game carried on without a goal as the Ukrainians continued to apply pressure with their one man advantage against their opposition.
Artem Dovbyk finally scored the much need goal for his country with just last kick of the game as it ended with Sweden 1-2 Ukraine which saw the away side making it to the next round.
