Paris Saint Germain have finally won the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum who was already set to join Barcelona, MySportDab reports.
The Netherlands International contract with Premier League side expired and no agreement for renewal which have seen him drop to free agent.
Despite Barcelona already reaching an agreement and medical already set to happen before Paris Saint Germain snatched Gini Wijnaldum who will sign a three year deal.
The move won’t be going through in favor of the Spanish club who are unable to match the salary being offered to the player by the French side who are paying double the amount.
Gini Wijnaldum will now accept a contract that will see him remain with Paris Saint-Germain until the summer of 2024.
This will be another blow for Ronald Koeman who will now be hoping they can complete move for Memphis Dapay who is set to complete the switch to Spain.
