Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has now responded to questions about his future amidst links to Manchester United, MySportDab reports.
Oblak was not exactly sure about his future when asked about him leaving Atletico Madrid this summer.
According to recent reports, United are planning a deal to sign Oblak and use David de Gea to drive down his release clause.
The Red Devils want to get rid of De Gea’s heavy £375,000-per-week wages.
While it seemed Dean Henderson would become no.1 for Manchester United, Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided to start De Gea for the Europa League Final instead.
However, if United’s interest in Oblak are true, then it means that De Gea or Henderson could leave before next season starts.
Now, Jan Oblak has responded to the links about United amid uncertainty on his future.
“No one can see the future, not me or the club,” Oblak told Marca.
“It depends on different factors, such as if the club must sell players or not.
“There is nothing to say about my future here, I have been here for seven years and there is still two years left on my contract.
“I have played over 300 matches here and, i have now also won La Liga, so my mind is not elsewhere.
‘”I’m happy here. We’ll see what happens in. The future.”
