Manchester United have finally reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Jadon Sancho, MySportDab reports.
Manchester United will now pay an initial £72.6m for the 21-year-old to Borussia Dortmund for the transfer.
Sancho has been Manchester United’s top transfer target since the summer of 2020 but the Red Devils refused to pay Dortmund’s £108m asking price.
However, Manchester United have returned for the winger this summer and agreed to pay a lesser fee to Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho.
Sancho scored 17 goals and provided 16 assists for Borussia Dortmund in the 2019/20 season, which attracted Manchester United’s first interest in the player.
However, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund now have an agreement for Jadon Sancho which has been confirmed by Bild, and Fabrizio Romano.
Fabrizio Romano wrote:
Jadon Sancho is expected to sign his Manchester United contract over the next few days after a medical is completed.
According to the Athletic, Sancho has already agreed to sign a five-year contract with United and he would wear the no.7 Jersey.
Sancho is now with the England squad at Euro 2020 but has not played much under Gareth Southgate.
