Sergio Ramos Next Club After Real Madrid Exit CONFIRMED (Details)

Real Madrid have officially confirmed that legendary Defender Sergio Ramos is leaving the club after 16 years, MySportDab reports.

The 35-year-old defender will hold his final press conference today to say his final goodbye to everyone at Real Madrid.

Ramos leaving means his last match for Real Madrid was the 2-0 defeat by Chelsea in the Champions League semi-finals.

Ramos’s contract expires at the end of June.

He was offered a one-year deal by the club with a pay-cut because of the coronavirus’ impact on Real Madrid’s finances.

But, Ramos wanted a two-year contract and on the same salary he currently earns without any Paycut.

Ramos was hopeful that his form during the season would force the club’s hand but injury problems reduced his playing time in 2021.

He also failed to make Luis Enrique’s Spain squad for the Euro 2020 tournament.

Ramos won so many trophies at Real Madrid such as five leagues, European Cups, four World Club Cups, three European Super Cups, two Copa del Reyes.

He is now leaving as Real Madrid’s second most decorated player in their history.

Ramos has already been replaced at Madrid after David Alaba arrived on a free from Bayern Munich.

He must now decide his next club.

Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Ramos, while there have been talks with Sevilla too about a club return.

Manchester United have also previously been linked with signing Sergio Ramos.
