England Star Bukayo Saka Penalty Miss Vs Italy Leads To Racist Abuse (VIDEO)

Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has been the main target of racist abuse after he missed a crucial penalty in England’s Euro 2020 final defeat against Italy, MySportDab reports.

The 19-year-old came off the bench and played the fifth penalty during the penalty shoot-out defeat to Italy.

Gianluigi Donnarumma saved Saka’s penalty, crowned Italy as the winners of Euro 2020.

Immediately after the final match, Saka has suffered sickening racial abuse on his Instagram account.

On his last Instagram post before the final, Saka The was targeted with racist language and emojis on the social media platform.

One angry fan said: ‘get out of my country.’

Another football fan said: ‘Return to Nigeria’.

The English Football Association has revealed that it was ‘shocked’ by the abuse and would support players affected by racism.

‘We have made it clear that anyone behind such behaviour is not welcome with the team,’ said the FA in a statement.

Saka broke down on the Wembley pitch after his penalty miss, with his team-mates trying to console him.

England Coach Southgate took full responsibility for the penalty loss.

He told the BBC: ‘It’s all my decision, I decided based on what we did in training. Nobody is alone, we’ve won as a team.’

Saka played England’s final penalty instead of experienced players like Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish.
