Everton are looking into the possibility of making a move for Villarreal and Nigerian forward Samuel Chukwueze, MySportDab reports.
The Toffees are currently rebuilding their team after Carlo Ancelotti left and Rafa Benitez coming in to replace him.
The Nigerian forward Samuel Chukwueze is now seen as the next target which they will be looking to strike a deal with Villarreal this summer.
The deal looks unlikely due to his current release clause which might make it impossible to happen unless they trigger the fee.
Everton are now monitoring Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze, according to reports coming from The Athletic.
New Toffees boss is a keen admirer of the 22-year-old, who has a £71 million ($97m) release clause in his current contract.
Manchester United and Liverpool have also been linked with Samuel Chukwueze, who is contracted to remain at Villarreal until 2023.
The only way a deal could happen is Everton agreeing to met his release clause or wait for it to expire before making a move.
This won’t be the first time the Nigerian is being linked with a move elsewhere after an amazing season which saw his side winning the Europa League cup.
Villarreal will go up against Chelsea next month in the Uefa Super Cup which the Nigerian Samuel Chukwueze will be hoping to lift the trophy.
