Patrik Schick scored but it wasn’t enough as the Czech Republic crashed out of Euro 2020 after losing 1-2 to Denmark, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
An excellent display from the away team in the first half which saw them claiming everything from their opponent who couldn’t stop them.
Thomas Delaney scored the opener in the 5th minute to give Denmark a 0-1 advantage after a nice buildup play from them gifts them the much needed lead.
The Czech Republic pushed forward with Patrik Schick leading the attack, but all their efforts weren’t good as it all led them nowhere near scoring.
The first 45 minutes carried on with more opportunities until Kasper Dolberg scored the second goal to extend the lead to 0-2 in the 42nd from an outstanding finish.
It ended in the first half of the encounter with the Czech Republic 0-2 Denmark as they both headed for the break with advantage heading the way of the away team.
Second Half Report
The second half was pretty much solid from the two Nations who produced some fantastic pieces of football while they pushed forward.
The Czech Republic came into the second half with more energy as they were behind and hoping to make a stunning comeback which we have seen in other games.
Patrik Schick pulled one back in the 49th minutes for his side against Denmark to make the scoreline 1-2 after a nice play saw the forward leveling with Ronaldo as top scorer.
The away side had things under control with their 1-2 lead still intact as they entered into the 70th minutes after they conceded an early second half goal.
More opportunities but nothing changes as the game ended with Czech Republic 1-2 Denmark as the away side claimed a win which see them joining Italy and Spain in the semi final.
