Man United kicked off their preseason with a 1-2 win against Derby County as Tahith Chong and Pellistri scored, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was almost evenly balance with both teams going at each other man for man as the Red Devils didn’t get much space to operate.
Tahith Chong gave Man United the lead in the 17th minute of the game after an amazing buildup play saw the skillful youngster finishing off neatly to make it 0-1.
Derby County continued to push forward hoping they could get a comeback which could turn the game as it progressed further with more opportunities created.
Nothing else could happen as the lower League side showed how much they could be a problem to the Old Trafford clubside.
The first half ended with Derby County 0-1 Man United as they both headed for the break with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side with the full advantage.
Second Half Report
The second half was evenly matched as both teams managed to hit the back of the net one each in a 45 minutes which was outstanding.
The game progressed with Derby County doing well enough to keep their opponent from controlling the entire game which wasn’t going their way.
Man United increased the lead in the 59th minute through a goal from Facundo Pellistri who made sure his finishing was exceptional as he made it 0-2.
The home team for the game didn’t take long before they pulled one back in the 70th minute, through a stunning finish from Kazim-Richards who made the scoreline 1-2.
The match finally came to an end with Derby County 1-2 Man United as the Premier League side open their preseason campaign with a victory.
