Juventus are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, his agent has confirmed, MySportDab reports.
The 29-year-old played a key role for Italy as they went on to win Euro 2020 this summer.
Jorginho and Italy defeated beating England on penalties in the final at Wembley last week Sunday.
The Chelsea midfielder was named in UEFA’s Euro 2020 Official Team of the Tournament.
Some Chelsea fans have even tipped him to win the Ballon D’Or award after he won the Champions League last season.
The former Napoli player revealed in March that the weather in London was different and he missed Naples.
However, his agent Joao Santos has now confirmed that Serie A giants Juventus are interested in the Euro 2020 winner.
Asked if Juventus were interested in Jorginho, agent Santos told Calciomercato: ‘I confirm it, the interests are there.
‘At 29, many clubs are interested and he can perform very well at any top European club.’
However, a few months ago in April, Santos stated that Jorginho would remain at Chelsea beyond this summer.
‘He has a two-year Chelsea contract, and it’s all left for the club to decide,’ Santos added.
‘There is the European Super Cup, World Club Cup coming up.
‘These are very important for any footballer. But, you never know what will happen in the transfer market.
‘Right now (in April), Jorginho will stay at Chelsea for next season.’
