Real Madrid have rejected Manchester United offer for Raphael Varane but the deal not totally off, MySportDab reports.
The Old Trafford have seen their first bid being thrown out the window by Los Blancos who is doing everything to collapse the deal.
Manchester United will have to make a bid of £70 million, which is what Real Madrid is demanding from them to agree on a move this summer.
The defender has just one season left to play and if a deal fails to happen this summer he might be leaving them for free.
The Red Devils recently completed a move for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho who will be unveiled after the conclusion of Euro 2020.
He is currently with the three lions of England who play Denmark next in the semi final with hopes of them making the final.
Manchester United have now been dealt with a huge blow in their attempts to sign Raphael Varane, who Real Madrid has rejected their first bid.
Despite personal terms already reached, the Red Devils might consider other option which includes Sevilla Jules Kounde who is also available for sale.
Although, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping he gets Varane as that is his first option for a partner for Harry Maguire next season.
Manchester United might be willing to make an increase in their offer if they will get a chance to sign him this summer transfer window.
They can also wait and hope the defender doesn’t extend his contract with Real Madrid, which could see them sign him as a free agent next summer window.
