New signing Romelu Lukaku has finally partaken in his first training session with Chelsea teammates after completing his move, MySportDab reports.
The Belgian granted his first interview with the club yesterday and now he has met with the rest of the team.
Romelu Lukaku just finished his first training session with Chelsea teammates as he has been properly introduced to the rest of the squad.
The Belgian completed a €115 million move from Inter Milan this summer after long and difficult negotiation.
A deal was reached between the two sides later on after the first offer was turned down by the Italian side who wanted more from Chelsea.
The Blues were earlier interested in signing Erling Haaland who Borussia Dortmund refused to allow go with a crazy bid being made.
It was reported that they were holding out for €175 million which wasn’t going to be the case of any team paying such amount this summer.
Chelsea had to go and make contact with Inter Milan for Romelu Lukaku which talks began with first offer of €100 million and Marcos Alonso turned down immediately.
Both teams came to an agreement of about €115 million which saw them finalizing the deal as the Belgian striker headed to London.
With everything done and dusted, he has now took part in his first training session with the rest of Chelsea teammates today.
Romelu Lukaku could be making his debut against Arsenal this weekend as they will be looking to run over the Gunners who lost their first game.
