Olivier Giroud makes it a brace debut goal as AC Milan beat Cagliari 4-1 as Sandro Tonali and Brahim Diaz also scored, MySportDab reports.
First half Report
It was raining goals in the first half of the encounter as both sides made things happen with fans enjoying everything that went down inside the 45 minutes.
Sandro Tonali opened the goal scoring to give AC Milan a 1-0 lead after an amazing buildup from play saw the attacking midfielder finished of neatly for his side.
Deiola pulled back level for Cagliari immediately in the 15th minute after a great play from the away side to make sure the comeback didn’t waste time as the scoreline turned 1-1.
The home side restored their lead through a goal from Rafael Leao in the 17th minute with the assistance coming from Theo Hernandez to make it 2-1.
Olivier Giroud netted his debut goal in a competitive game after he scored in the 24th minute to increase the lead for his side to 3-1 as they continued to cruise in the encounter.
He responded once again in the 43rd minute and this time it was from the penalty spot which Giroud converted with ease to increase the scoreline to 4-1.
The first half ended with AC Milan 4-1 Cagliari as they both went for the break giving the home side everything to celebrate for in the encounter.
Second Half Report
A very poor second half didn’t see any goal coming as it was expected for it to come when things carried on with the home side pressing hard.
Cagliari were more organized in the second half like their manager had some words to share with them when they went inside for the break.
It was AC Milan who struggled more as they felt relaxed and it affected them in some stages of the second half which didn’t last long or cost anything.
Nothing could be recorded as the game dragged until it ended with AC Milan 4-1 Cagliari which saw the home side claimed their three points without stress.
