Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo was expected to leave the club but he has now suffered an injury in training, MySportDab reports.
Amad Diallo was expected to complete a loan transfer from Manchester United to Feyenoord but his injury has put everything into doubt.
Feyenoord sporting director Frank Arnesen wants a full assessment of the injury before finalising the loan deal or not.
United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær confirmed that a club offered to sign the 19-year old Amad on loan following the return of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Crystal Palace and Sheffield United also tried to sign Diallo and give him Premier League experience.
However, Manchester United are close to agreement with Feyenoord.
Solskjær said: ‘Yes, Amad will go out on loan. It’s not 100 per cent done but we have an agreement. I believe we have found a place that Amad feels excited about and we also feel the same way.’
The deal for Diallo to Feyenord has now collapsed.
Manchester United signed Amad joined from Atalanta in January for an initial £20m fee.
But, the Ivory Coast international has a difficulty task to play first team football.
Since United signed Jadon Sancho and Ronaldo, Diallo is unlikely to get any regular first team football.
Manchester United will also consider loan offer for Wales international Daniel James despite him telling clubs he would stay.
Right-back Diogo Dalot is also likely to stay despite interest from Borussia Dortmund to sign him on loan.
