All indications are pointing to Paris Saint Germain who are nearing a deal with Lionel Messi after Barcelona exit, MySportDab reports.
The Argentine forward left Barcelona few hours ago after the club failed to register his new contract which was already agreed on.
Lionel Messi might be heading to Paris Saint Germain in the coming days as talks are already going on for a move.
The Ligue One side were quick to start talks for the forward immediately after Barcelona exit before any team makes an approach.
Paris Saint Germain are said to be nearing an agreement already with direct talks going on between the club and player representatives.
According To Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the French club is confident of pulling a deal together for Lionel Messi to join them this summer window.
He said;
“Paris Saint Germain are confident to find the right “deal structure” soon to sign Lionel Messi after opening direct talks since yesterday. PSG are already working on Leo’s potential contract.
Been told also confidence is growing in PSG dressing room – Neymar is pushing’.
Obviously, they might be the only team willing to match Lionel Messi’s wages which Barcelona was supposed to have offered him.
Premier League clubs are for now not attempting the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea are focused on getting a striker before the window closes.
