Football Legend Pele has now been rushed to the hospital for an undisclosed health problem, MySportDab reports.
Pele has been in the hospital for six days but he is not seriously sick.
According to Brazilian Newspaper Globo News, Pele is currently taking part in routine health examinations at Sao Paulo’s Albert Einstein Hospital.
During the tests at the hospital, an undisclosed issue was detected.
Pele’s Manager Joe Fraga has said there was no need to panic.
‘He’s undergoing full tests/scans/colonoscopy/blood etc,’ Fraga wrote in a message to the public.
‘He can’t do it all in one day.’
This comes a few days after Pele denied reports that he had fainted.
In an Instagram message, Pele wrote: ‘Guys, I did not faint and I’m in good health.
‘I went for my regular check ups, which has been been difficult to get done due to the pandemic. Tell them am not playing next Sunday!’
Pele is one of the greatest footballers in history and a top legend of Brazilian football.
The 80-year-old is also the only footballer to ever win three World Cups during his football career.
