Harry Kane scored as England drew Poland 1-1 away from home in their FIFA World Cup qualifiers to remain top of the group, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
An evenly balanced first half saw the Polish and English holding things down without anyone able to break down each other as we witnessed good football.
It was Poland who had the most work to do defending and also pushing forward knowing they need to win the game with them playing in front of their home crowd which was filled in numbers.
England dominated play as expected of them, but they were lacking so much when it came to them finishing off after creating a good buildup to the goal that always end up in nothing.
Nothing could separate them as the match entered the last 10 minutes of the first half which was looking so tensed as both teams had so much to do in defending and attacking.
The first half of the match finally ended with Poland and England settling for a goalless scoreline after a hectic 45 minutes in which no goal was recorded by either side.
Second Half Report
The second half started with so many promises that looked positive as both Nations were eager and pushing forward to make sure something good happens.
Still, the same old stories as the goal weren’t coming from either side with the second half progressing with more opportunities being created by the teams.
England continued to push through hoping to take the lead which was very hard to come for them despite all the firepower they possess up front against their opponent.
It was Robert Lewandowski against the likes of Harry Maguire and John Stones who did well enough to keep out the goal-scoring machine from breaking down and giving Poland something to celebrate.
Finally, Harry Kane ensured he gave the Three Lions the lead after scoring in the 72nd minute of the game to make it 0-in 1 thanks to a good buildup in which Kyle Walker did the assist.
A late goal from Szymanski ensured the Polish leveled things from an outstanding play which resulted in them scoring in the 92nd minute to make the scoreline 1-1.
The match carried on without anything else as it ended with Poland 1-1 England, which saw them settling for a draw which was well deserved.
