It was all in favour of the Portuguese who dominated things in the first half leading to them scoring twice against their opponent.
It wasn’t a bad start for Qatar who were able to make things happen going forward as they also made sure their defending was good in the early minutes played.

It was an evenly balanced second half which started out good with both sides having a go for it as the opportunities were more.
Portugal were okay with just passing the ball around to kill off time as the encounter looked like it was becoming an easy win for them after the two goals scored already.
A 61st minutes goal from Hassan gave Qatar a lifeline in the friendly encounter as their finishing ensured the scoreline turned 1-2 moving forward as they carry on with the fight.
Things looked settled with both countries hitting the back of the net in the second half which looked like it was over until Bruno Fernandes converted from the penalty spot to make it 1-3 in the 88th minute.
The match finally ended with Qatar 1-3 Portugal as the Portuguese claimed a good win against the next FIFA World Cup host in an entertaining friendly encounter.
