Real Madrid came from behind to beat Valencia 1-2 as Karim Benzema made an assist and scored a later winner, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was filled with so much coming from both sides who had so many to offer in the attack which failed to yield anything good.
It wasn’t an easy ride for Real Madrid who was looking to claim a win against their opponent as they started the game as the better side who dominated things going forward.
Valencia also did well enough as they make a fight which saw them also pushing forward with opportunities coming but didn’t result in anything good.
It wasn’t looking like a goalless affair as the game progressed into the last 5 minutes of play between the two sides in the first half encounter which looked dry.
The first half of the encounter came to an end with Valencia 0-0 Real Madrid as they both headed in for the break after an evenly balanced 45 minutes which was goalless.
Second Half Report
The second half was a different ball game entirely which saw goals being scored with visiting side making a late comeback.
Nothing seems to be happening as the second 45 minutes continued with few opportunities being created while the ball possession favored the away team.
Hugo Duro gave Valencia the lead in the 66th minute of the game which saw them pressing until they find a way to take a 1-0 lead against their opposition.
Real Madrid didn’t give up that easily as they continued to push further until Vinicius Jnr scored to level things 1-1 in the 86th minute with an assist from Benzema.
Karim Benzema also had to make sure his name is on the scoreboard as he converted in the 89th minute to put his side ahead 1-2 after so much pressure.
The match ended with Valencia 1-2 Real Madrid as the Los Blancos came from behind to claim three points and go top of the League table on 13 points.
