Paul Pogba’s Agent Mino Raiola has today confirmed plans of a transfer to Juventus, MySportDab reports.
Raiola has revealed that Pogba is open to returning back to Juventus next summer.
The Frenchman left Juventus to re-join United for £89m back in 2016.
Over the last few years, there has been endless rumours about Pogba’s future.
However, the 28-year-old’s contract at Manchester United expires at the end of the season.
Today, Raiola has again spoken about Paul Pogba’s future at Old Trafford.
He told Corriere dello Sport: ‘Pogba’s contract will expire next year. We will hold talks with Manchester and see.
‘Yes, Turin has always been in his heart and he cares about these things. A return to Juventus is possible and ready but it also depends on Juve.’
Paul Pogba has been linked with a return to Juventus since he left the club in 2016.
Raiola and United have a bad relationship ever since Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said that the Frenchman was ‘United’s player and not Mino’s’.
Super Agent, Raiola hit back at Solskjaer and said that Pogba was is not a property for anyone.
In December 2020, Raiola revealed that Paul Pogba wanted to leave.
He said: ‘I must say this that it’s over for Paul Pogba at Manchester United. He must change teams, and now has to change the air.
‘He has a contract that expires in the summer of 2022, but I believe the best solution is to sell in the next market.
‘Otherwise, the club knows well that they would risk losing him on a free transfer, given that it is not the player’s intention to extend his contract.’
However, Pogba has never publicly said that he wants to leave Manchester United.
The Frenchman has stated the new season in great form with seven assists in the opening four matches of the season.
If United fail to sign Pogba to a new contract, he will be free to discuss a pre-contract agreement to join any club in January.
