Here is a new update about Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba’s contract situation, MySportDab reports.

Pogba is now considering staying at Manchester United, with talks for a new contract scheduled.

The 28-year-old has less than one year left on his current contract and has previously refused to sign a new deal.

His refusal to re-sign has made fans worried that Pogba would leave on a free transfer again next summer.

But, According to The Athletic, United’s win against Newcastle on Saturday has had a significant impact on Pogba’s plans for his future.

Now, Pogba is having second thoughts about leaving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.

Pogba already has seven assists so far in only four Premier League matches.

He also provided two assists in the Newcastle match last Saturday.

However, the match was overshadowed by Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored in the first half ans second half to send fans wild.

MySportDab understands that Ronaldo’s return and Saturday’s results have had a significant positive impact on Pogba.

United remain slightly realistic about the contract extension and already have a list of potential replacements should Pogba leave again.

The Red Devils are expected to resume talks for Pogba’s extension over the next few months.

However, by January, Pogba will be able to speak to and sign a pre-contract agreement with any club.

Pogba’s change of heart is also likely to be determined by how United perform this season.

With new signings Jadon Sancho, Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane, United’s long-term vision and plans are very clear now.

Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus remain linked with signing the Frenchman on a free transfer next summer.
