Erling Haaland has received warning from his teammate over a potential move to Manchester City, MySportDab reports.
The Norwegian is expected to make a move elsewhere before or after the end of the current season.
Mats Hummels has signalled a strong warning to Erling Haaland about making a move to Manchester City which is likely to happen.
The English Premier League side are set to begin talks with Borussia Dortmund by January over a possible move which they want to happen.
Other clubs including Real Madrid have also made their interest known after his agent offered him to them and a number of teams.
Mats Hummels insists Erling Haaland could stay with Borussia Dortmund instead of making a move elsewhere.
He warned the in-demand striker from his own personal experience at Bayern Munich that big moves do not always work out for players.
Top players have made a move which they feel is good for them but at the end it always end up bad with Eden Hazard to Real Madrid as an example.
Mats Hummels Told Sport Bild:
“I can fully understand him if he wants to stay! Because it’s great in Dortmund, because he knows what he’s got here.
I haven’t given up hope that he’ll stay for a long time.
“The grass on the other hand is not always greener. You really should be aware of that in football.”
That won’t stop the Norwegian from making the move as he and his agent have made up their mind to join a bigger team with good offer for them.
Manchester City at currently the only side who are set to begin talks when the January window opens for business in 2022.
They could be willing to meet any demands for Erling Haaland made by Borussia Dortmund with his release clause going down to €75 million.
