Mohamed Salah has been issued a serious warning amid his plan of making a move elsewhere, MySportDab reports.
The Egyptian is linked with a move elsewhere as his contract talks with Liverpool isn’t going anywhere to an agreement.
Paris Saint Germain was reported to be considering a move for Mohamed Salah as he could be a replacement for Kylian Mbappe who is heading to Real Madrid.
Liverpool are currently doing everything to extend the 29-year-old contract as he is also keen on staying beyond his current contract.
Mohamed Salah already made his demands which the club are struggling to match as other top clubs are willing to pay him more.
The forward demands Liverpool pay him €500k weekly wages or he won’t sign a new contract with the Anfield club.
Darren Bent has urged Mohamed Salah not to consider leaving Liverpool for Spanish giants Real Madrid or Barcelona next summer.
This season has been exceptional for the forward who already have 15 goals in all competitions.
His current contract with Liverpool will ending in 2023 and the Reds are desperate to tie him down beyond that expiration date of his deal.
Here Is What Darren Bent Had To Say:
“Do you know what he has on his side as well? There aren’t too many places he can go,” Bent told TalkSport.
“You look at Barcelona or Real Madrid; neither of them are in any sort of financial state.
“I know they bid something crazy for Kylian Mbappe, but that looks like who they are set on getting. They are in a rebuild.”
He Also Added:
“Not now they’re not big, Liverpool are massive,” Bent opined on Real Madrid and Barcelona’s current status.
“Where would you rather go right now? When you talk about the biggest clubs in the world right now, in terms of who could go on and win the Champions League, I think of Liverpool, Chelsea, City, PSG, Bayern.
“If Barca or Real came in for me right now and I’m at Liverpool, I would stay where I am.”
Mohamed Salah recently broke the record for highest scoring African in the English Premier League held by Didier Drogba who played for Chelsea.
