Lionel Messi scored alongside one each from Rodrigo De Paul and Lautaro Martinez as Brazil won 3-0 against Uruguay, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter wasn’t that bad coming from both sides but the Argentines made it all about them with goals being scored.
The first 30 minutes of football was perfect for both sides in defending against themselves which didn’t see any goal coming from them.
Lionel Messi scored the opening goal in the 38th minute of play after an amazing display saw Tottenham midfielder Lo Celso providing the assist which made it 1-0 for Argentina.
Things didn’t play out well for Uruguay who was wasteful in all their dealings in front of goal as the game progressed with so many opportunities created.
Rodrigo De Paul extended the lead in the 44th minute of the game from an outstanding finish which increased the scoreline to 2-0 going forward.
The first half played out and ended with Argentina heading into the break with a 2-0 advantage against Uruguay who couldn’t make anything happen for themselves.
Second Half Report
The second half of the match was closely matched between both teams who had so much to offer going forward as the game tightened up more.
Uruguay was still unable to make anything happen despite all their effort and attempts of making things go in their favor against their opponent.
Argentina was still much in the game which progressed with so many opportunities created but still couldn’t add to the lead which could have killed off the game early.
The goal finally came in the 62nd minute which saw Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez converting neatly to extend the lead to 3-0 from a brilliant finishing.
More came but nothing to change the scoreline as the match ended with Argentina taking all three points from a 3-0 win against Uruguay.
