Mohamed Salah scored a brace as Liverpool beat 10-man Atletico Madrid 2-3 in the Champions League group stages which saw Greizmann sent off, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a fun filled first half encounter with load of goals coming from both ends in a 45 minute that was evenly matched and balanced.
Liverpool drew first blood as Mohamed Salah scored in the 8th minutes of the game after a beautiful assistance from Andrew Robertson which the Egyptian made it 0-1.
Atletico Madrid were unable to get a grip of the game as the second goal came in the 13th minute from Naby Keita who finished off to extend the Premier League side lead to 0-2.
More coming as the game progressed with the Laliga side pulling one goal back in the 20th minute of the game which came from Antoine Griezmann who made the scoreline 1-2.
The France International made it his brace and a leveler for his side in the 34th minute after a nice combination with Joao Felix who provided the assistance that made things 2-2 going forward.
The first half was so much entertainment as it ended with Atletico Madrid holding Liverpool to a 2-2 draw after an amazing 45 minutes of good football from both teams.
Second Half Report
The second half started out nicely as both teams picked up from where they stopped in the first 45 minutes which was filled with so many goals going forward.
It was looking good for Atletico Madrid until Antoine Griezmann was shown a straight red card in the 52nd minute which reduced them to 10-man against their opponent.
The game carried on with both teams pushing hard while Liverpool dominated things with the one man advantage they had over the Spanish side who did everything possible to hold them off.
Mohamed Salah gave his side the lead in the 78th minute of the second half as he converted from the penalty spot to make it 3-2 and a brace for himself in the encounter.
A penalty was awarded to the home side but after VAR review, it was revoked as it wasn’t seen as a foul which could warrant it being allowed in the 84th minute of the game.
Nothing changed as the match finally ended with Atletico Madrid losing 2-3 against Liverpool who got the job done after the end of 90 minutes of the encounter.
