Riyad Mahrez scored a brace as Man City thrashed Club Brugge 1-5 in the UEFA Champions League, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

A good performance in the first half of the encounter for Manchester City who had things going their way as they made sure it counted well for them.

Club Brugge had solution for every attacks thrown at them by Man City who made sure they gave their opponent troubles in the first 20 minutes of the game.

Joao Cancelo opened the goal scoring in the 30th minute of the game after a teamwork effort with Phil Foden saw the Portuguese making the scoreline 0-1 for the Premier League side.

The encounter carried on with more coming from the Cityzens who made sure they continued pushing forward for more goals in the first half of the match.

Riyad Mahrez extended the lead to 0-2 in the 43rd minute after the home side committed a foul inside their box which the Algerian converted from the penalty spot to increase the scoreline.

The first half came to an end with Man City taking a huge 0-2 advantage into the break against Club Brugge who couldn’t stop the goals from coming after 45 minutes.

Second Half Report

The second half started well were it left off in the first 45 minutes of the game which two goals was scored by Manchester City who dominated play going forward.

Kyle Walker made it 0-3 in the 53rd minute of the second half as Club Brugge failed to deal with their defense which saw the Premier League side increasing their lead.

Man City carried on with more dominance as Cole Palmer made it 0-4 in the 67th minute after teaming up with Raheem Sterling for the finish.

Hans Vanaken pulled one back for the home side in the 81st minutes to make the scoreline 1-4 with an outstanding finish.

Riyad Mahrez made it his brace in the 84th minute as he scored from a brilliant angle to wrap thing up by a 1-5 scoreline.

The match came to an end with Man City 1-5 against Club Brugge which sees the English Premier League finishing with another big victory away from home.
