FT: Italy 1-2 Spain, Ferran Torres Bags BRACE! (Match Report And Highlight)

Italy suffer first defeat since 2018 as they lost to Spain 1-2 with Ferran Torres brace in the semi final of the Nations League, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half of the encounter wasn’t that bad as the visitors dominated things going forward and making sure their advantage counted for them.

The first 10 minutes played was evenly matched between the two sides who created opportunities that couldn’t be converted despite going close.

Spain took the lead in the 17th minute of the encounter through Manchester City forward Ferran Torres who converted to make it 0-1 with assist coming from Mikel Oyarzabal.

The match progressed with Italy unable to make anything happen despite being the home side who could have made things work out for them going forward.

Things got worst for the home side as Bonucci was shown a second yellow card in the 42nd minute which left to him being sent off and the Azzuri were left with 10-man.

Ferran Torres doubled the lead in the 47th minute of the first half after an amazing buildup from play saw the forward making it his brace and 0-2 for his Country.

The first half of the encounter ended with Spain taking a 0-2 advantage into the break after an amazing 45 minutes of good football played between them.

Second Half Report

Second half started out evenly balance despite the huge difference in both teams which the home side were left with 10-man to continue the match.

Spain continued dominating things but they couldn’t find a way to extend their lead as the Italians were too strong despite having one man down.

The game carried on with so much work coming from Italy who had more defending to do than pushing forward as things looked difficult for them.

It was going good as Pellegrini smashed one goal back in the 83rd minute of the second half to make the scoreline 1-2 after a good attacking display.

Things looked evenly balanced with a goal coming as the game ended with Italy suffering their first defeat in years as they go down 1-2 against Spain.
