First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was solid coming from both teams who had so much to offer going forward and to defend.
Perfect start for Man United who had control on things as they kicked off the game with Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo both on the bench.
Edinson Cavani almost scored for the Old Trafford side but his finish wasn’t good enough to beat Everton goalkeeper who was able to make something happen.
Anthony Martial finally scored the opener in the 43rd minute of the game after a good assist coming from Burno Fernandes saw France International make it 1-0.
That goal remained until the first half came to an end with Man United taking a much-needed lead into the break after a good 45 minutes of football.
Second Half Report
The second half started evenly balanced coming from both teams who made sure their going forward did not affect their abilities to defend.
Everton wasn’t looking to calm down as they pushed forward looking for an opportunity to hit their opponent unaware as they were down behind in the encounter.
Man United failed to clear their back as they conceded in the 56th minute of the second half through a goal coming from Townsend who made things 1-1 with a stunner.
It was looking like a draw could end the match as the game entered into the last 10 minutes with hostilities going on which couldn’t provide another goal.
The Red Devils looked poor as they were unable to score despite Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho coming on the pitch of play.
The game ended with another disappointing performance as it was Man United getting just one point from a 1-1 draw against Everton at Old Trafford.
