FT: Napoli 1-0 Torino, Victor Osimhen STRIKES! | HIGHLIGHTS

Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen was on target again as Napoli claimed a narrow 1-0 win against Torino to move top of the table, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half of the encounter was closely matched between the two sides who did everything possible to make things happen going forward.

Torino were good enough defending their goalkeeper who had less work to do in the early stages of the first half which was evenly balanced.

Lorenzo Insigne missed an opportunity to give Napoli the lead in the 27th minute of the game which saw him displaced a penalty given to him.

Things continued without any goal coming in the match as they both did everything possible to ensure they took the advantage which didn’t happen.

The first half of the encounter ended with Napoli and Torino heading into the break without anything to write home about as it was a goalless 0-0 scoreline.

Second Half Report

The second half was a bit different as the goal finally came after numerous amount of opportunities created going forward from both of the teams.

Napoli was once again denied the opportunity of taking the lead in the 56th minute of the game after VAR ruled out a goal scored by Giovanni Di Lorenzo which could have been 1-0.

Torino were good and relief after the decision made by VAR to rule out the goal which could have given the home team the advantage they needed to have turned the game around.

The goal finally came through Victor Osimhen in the 81st minutes of the game after an amazing teamwork effort saw the Nigerian finishing off neatly to make the scoreline 1-0.

Nothing else happened between them as the match ended with Napoli taking a 1-0 win against Torino which saw them reclaim their number one spot on the table.
