Goals from Takumi Minamino and Divork Origi helped Liverpool advance into the next round of the Carabao Cup by beating Preston 0-2, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the match was evenly balanced without anything coming through despite all the amount of opportunities created by both teams.
It was Preston North End who looked better between the two teams as they had more of the opportunities on goal but managed to throw them away.

The second half was a lot different from what happened in the first 45 minutes which no goal was scored by either team.
Liverpool started the second half more dangerous than they were in the other 45 minutes which most of their buildup and execution were very poor.
Preston North End held on until the 62nd minute of the game which saw Takumi Minamino giving the visitors a 0-1 lead after an amazing finish coming from the forward.
The game progressed further with the Reds finding their rhythm into the encounter which saw them dominating things with the lead on their side.
Divork Origi made it 0-2 in the 84th minute of the second half which was through an error which the Belgian capitalized on the extend the advantage for his side.
The match progressed with Liverpool making it into the quarter-final of the EFL Carabao Cup with a 0-2 win against Preston North End.
