Kylian Mbappe scored a late penalty which saw PSG claimed a 2-1 win against Angers in the French Ligue One, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was very poor coming from Paris Saint Germain who dominated things but unable to benefit anything out of all their dominance.
Angers were comfortable dealing with everything thrown at them by their opponent who had more of the opportunities going forward and attacking.
It wasn’t looking good for PSG who had so much going with the absent of Lionel Messi and some other key players who went for the International break.
The away side took the lead in the 36th minute of the encounter when Angelo Fulgini scored a stunner which saw the scoreline turned 0-1 from a good buildup from place against all odds.
The first half ended with PSG going down 0-1 against Angers who went inside for the break with a narrow advantage after showing so much quality within 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
The second half was different as Paris Saint Germain showed why they are called the giant of French Ligue One which saw them turning things around in their favor.
PSG continued with their dominance going forward as they did everything possible in making sure they scored the leveler immediately which didn’t happen for them as it progresses.
The goal finally came after Angers were caught off guard and Danilo Pereira scored in the 69th minute to level things 1-1 with assistance coming from Kylian Mbappe.
More coming from both teams who carried on with the encounter looking for the lead which nothing was able to happen with the game entering the last 10 minutes.
A penalty was converted in the 87th minute by Kylian Mbappe after the referee pointed to the spot for a foul which the Nations League winner smashed home to make it 2-1.
The match ended with PSG coming from behind to claim all three points by beating Angers 2-1 at home to maintain their fine run in the League.
