Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe both scored as France came from behind to beat Spain which saw them win the UEFA Nations League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
No goal was scored in the first half of the encounter which was evenly matched and balanced between both Nations who did everything possible for a goal.
Spain had a good amount of ball control going forward which saw them dominating things in the early stages of the encounter that was all about the pressing.
It wasn’t looking good for France but they were able to deal with everything thrown at them by their opponent who couldn’t finish off despite getting more of the opportunities.
Things looked evenly balance going forward and defending which they both did well enough in making sure they don’t concede but couldn’t find a breakthrough.
The first half of the match ended with Spain 0-0 France as they both headed for the break without a goal after 45 minutes of football played.
Second Half Report
The second half started with so much pace coming from the two teams who had so much to play for going forward.
It took both sides until the 64th minute before Spain took the lead 1-0 thanks to an amazing display which saw Sergio Busquets set up Mikel Oyarzabal who scored the opener.
France didn’t waste much time in getting themselves back into the game as Karim Benzema leveled things 1-1 after scoring in the 66th minute with the assist coming from Kylian Mbappe.
The game continued with so much more coming from both sides who were eager to take the lead as the encounter entered the final stages.
Another goal that saw the away side for the encounter took a 1-2 lead in the 80th minute and this time it was Kylian Mbappe scoring with an assist from Theo Hernandez.
The match carried on without anything else as it ended with France taking a 1-2 victory to claim the UEFA Nations League trophy against Spain.
