Cristiano Ronaldo scored and made an assist as Man United beat Tottenham 0-3 away from home with Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford on target, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
A close first-half encounter which was brilliant with just one error leading to a goal which was well deserved by Manchester United who had so much to do.
The encounter looked like the game that could save Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job as the Red Devils ensured they started well with them doing the pressing.
Tottenham also did manage to cause some troubles which were easily dealt with by Man United who had no problem in defending as Harry Maguire looked solid at the back.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored the opener in the 39th minute of the first half after teaming up with Bruno Fernandes who assisted to make the scoreline 0-1.
It was still going good with both teams creating more opportunities in the remaining minutes left in the first half after the goal was scored by the Portuguese.
The first half ended with Man United taking a slim advantage into the break after an amazing first half against Tottenham with a scoreline of 0-1.
Second Half Report
A better second half for Manchester United who looked the better between the two teams going forward leaving the London side to chase after the game.
Tottenham was far less of a competition for the Red Devils who continued making sure the pressure was on their opponent who couldn’t gain control.
Edinson Cavani made the scoreline 0-2 in the 64th minute of the second half after a good effort which saw Cristiano Ronaldo making the assistance for the Uruguay international to score.
Man United didn’t look done yet as they continued the game with more opportunities created until Marcus Rashford made it 0-3 in the 86th minute with an assist from Matic.
The match carried on until the referee ended things with Man United taking a 0-3 win against Tottenham to see them bounce back from their poor run of form.
